Introduction
Currently, there are many CAD drafting
standards competing for acceptance in the marketplace. Add to the that
fact most companies have developed their own custom standards and you have
virtually an infinite number of color schemes in use. How convenient
it would be to always be able to work with your own color scheme when working
with other companies. Well, now you can.
Overview
Color Translator allows you to
easily convert drawings to and from any standard quickly, accurately, and
consistently. What once took hours can now be accomplished in mere
seconds. Type CTRAN to run.
Translation
Color Translator allows you to
create color translation tables. These tables contain any number of
entries that specify an old and new color. Once the table is created
you may save, export, or apply the translation. You may save any
number of translation tables and can apply them at any time. Use the
Load button to load saved translation tables into the dialog in
order to apply them to the drawing.
Colors
Color Translator recognizes ACI,
HSL, RGB, and Color book colors as seen in the graphic above.
You may load all the colors used in a drawing into the Conversions
list box by simply pressing the Find button.
